Located in beautiful Eastern Oregon, the La Grande Farmers' Market is a seasonal open-air market featuring fresh local produce, baked goods, specialty foods, quality meat, eggs, garden products, arts, crafts, and live music. Enjoy shopping locally while interacting with farmers, artists, musicians, craftsman and friends.


Opening Day 2014!!

Get your market bags ready; Opening day this year is Saturday, May 17th!!

All season long we will be open Saturdays 9am to noon and Tuesday afternoons 3:30 to 6:00pm.

I don't know about you, but I am ready to eat some fresh farm produce!

Annual Meeting 2014

Time to start planning for the new year!  The La Grande Farmers' Market Annual Meeting will be Thursday, March 6th, at 6:30pm.   The meeting will be held in the Community Room at the La Grande Public Library.

Everyone is invited!

If you have ever considered becoming a vendor at our market, this is a great opportunity to find out how to do that.  You can learn about our policies, ask questions, and chat with other vendors.  This is also the time and place for signing up early for spaces at the market.

2013 La Grande Farmers' Market Poster

The La Grande Farmers' Market is pleased to present our official poster for 2013. This poster was painted by local water-colorist Ann Yoder. The carrots featured in the poster were actually purchased by the artist at our market. You are invited to come on down to the market on Opening Day: Saturday, May 18, 2013. The vendors will be ready to serve you starting at 9:00 AM. Ann Yoder will be on hand to sign copies of her poster that will be available for purchace. The market is located at the corner of Adams and 4th in Downtown La Grande.

And so the 2012 La Grande Farmers' Market season draws to a close. I would like to thank all our wonderful vendors and customers for helping make this season the great success it was. For those of you who would still like to shop locally even in the off season, below I have a list of farmers with produce and meat still available. Have a cozy Autumn and Winter!

R&A Paradise Ranch
will have beef, lamb, pork, and chicken through the winter. They will be making stops in La Grande and Baker City on weekends every month. Contact them by phone or e-mail and get on their e-mail list for schedules and locations and information about meat availability.

Debbie Crafton
Has beets for $.99 lb and shallots for $2.00 lb.

We have winter squash, 26 different kinds plus. Kobacha Green, Buttercup, Sweet Meat, Confection/Queensland Blue (a sweet meat), Crown (a sweet meat), Long Island cheese, Hopi Pale Grey, Sucrine Du Berry, Greek Sweet Red, Honey Bear Acorn, Green Acorn, Tennessee Sweet Potato, Sunshine, Lakota, Black Futsu, Chirman, Blue Banana, Boston Marrow, Thelma Saunders Acorn, Personal Spaghetti, Spaghetti, Long Island Cheese, Musquee De Provence, Fairy, Lady Godiva (for hulless seeds only) and Green Hubbard and more I can't think of.

Potatoes, we have Purple, Russets, Dark Red Norland, Red Lasoda, California Whites, All Blues, Irish Eyes Purple Majesty, Red Pontiac, All Reds, Viking, Princess Rattle Fingerling, Rose Finn Apple Fingerling.
