2013 La Grande Farmers' Market Poster

The La Grande Farmers' Market is pleased to present our official poster for 2013. This poster was painted by local water-colorist Ann Yoder. The carrots featured in the poster were actually purchased by the artist at our market. You are invited to come on down to the market on Opening Day: Saturday, May 18, 2013. The vendors will be ready to serve you starting at 9:00 AM. Ann Yoder will be on hand to sign copies of her poster that will be available for purchace. The market is located at the corner of Adams and 4th in Downtown La Grande.

Our annual meeting this year will be held on April 4th at 6:30pm.

We will be getting ready for the upcoming season.  Come and learn about the exciting things we have in store for the market this year - and sign up for your spots.

If you have ever thought about becoming a vendor at the market this is a nice opportunity to meet people and get your questions answered.

Farmers; you will be able to get your scales certified at the meeting!

And so the 2012 La Grande Farmers' Market season draws to a close. I would like to thank all our wonderful vendors and customers for helping make this season the great success it was. For those of you who would still like to shop locally even in the off season, below I have a list of farmers with produce and meat still available. Have a cozy Autumn and Winter!

R&A Paradise Ranch

Kobacha Green, Buttercup, Sweet Meat, Confection/Queensland Blue (a sweet meat), Crown (a sweet meat), Long Island cheese, Hopi Pale Grey, Sucrine Du Berry, Greek Sweet Red, Honey Bear Acorn, Green Acorn, Tennessee Sweet Potato, Sunshine, Lakota, Black Futsu, Chirman, Blue Banana, Boston Marrow, Thelma Saunders Acorn, Personal Spaghetti, Spaghetti, Long Island Cheese, Musquee De Provence, Fairy, Lady Godiva (for hulless seeds only) and Green Hubbard and more I can't think of.

Saturday is the Last Market of 2012 - Free Cake

Saturday is the final La Grande Farmers' Market of the 2012 Season. 

Come on down for your last chance to enjoy the Farmers' Market this year. Get yourself a slice of delicious carrot cake from Kneads Bakery and top it off with hot coffee and hot cider. These refreshments are courtesy of the Market Vendors. You can shop for fall fruit and produce, prepared food, and a selection of crafts.

The Market will be open 9:00 AM to noon. Music will be provided by Jenna Leigh a singer songwriter playing acoustic guitar.
