Market is off to a good start

The 2012 La Grande Farmers' Market is well served by vendors and attendance by shoppers has been good. You will find a great selection of flowering plants and starter plants. Also check out the early produce including strawberries, beets, lettuce, chard, radishes, carrots, and more. R&A Paradise Ranch is offering grass fed beef, pork, chicken and lamb. Multiple vendor are selling farm fresh eggs. Consider buying some local wine, honey or some gourmet vinegar.
On Saturdays you have many choices for something to eat while you are there. Mamacitas serves breakfast or lunch plus there is a large variety of prepared foods including: baked goods, Italian sausages, Thai chicken, and other options.
The band is playing next Saturday will be Brother Bear & Family featuring nature inspired folk.
The craft vendors have been out in full force bringing a wide variety of products to the market. You are likely to find jewelry, soap, art work, pottery, yarn, ceramic art, hula hoops, handmade textiles, and many more surprises.
Be sure to schedule you next visit to the La Grande Farmers' Market located at 4th and Adams across from the Library. The market is open Saturdays 9:00 AM to noon and Tuesdays 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
