People of La Grande; you live in an amazing community.

Our funding for the Double Up Food Program was done last year, and we were looking at having to stop matching your SNAP dollars spent at the market.  However, I am very happy to report, local funders have stepped up to the plate, and we will be continuing with this incredible program!!

We have received funding from LCAC,  the Local Community Advisory Council,  Wildhorse Casino, and Imbler High School!!

Once again, we will be able to match the first $10 you spend of SNAP at the market EVERY TIME YOU VISIT!  So while you take $10 off your EBT card, you'll get $20 to spend on the best local produce our farmers have to offer.

Just visit the information booth at the market to get your tokens!

Saturday, May 19th.

Tuesday market opens on the following Tuesday, May 22nd.

Buckle your seatbelts - it is going to be an awesome season!

Also, be sure to come check out our monthly Beer Gardens on the last Tuesday Market of each month; Shop for farm fresh produce, enjoy great music, AND grab a pint from Side A and a gyro sandwich from Yia Yia Nikkis, all in one stop!

Welcome to La Grande Farmers' Market 2015!!

Welcome to the new website for La Grande Farmers' Market!  I am very pleased about the changes we have made this year, and I hope you will be too.   Let me tell you about our cool new features.

First of all, I have to thank a very dear Friend of the Market, Gray McGuire.  Gray has donated many hours towards creating this website, and he has been a constant source of good advice.  Thank you Gray!!

Now, I am very pleased to announce that we are using a new software this year called "Manage My Market."  All the Portland Farmers' Markets use it; it is a great tool for organizing information.  Now vendors will be able to apply completely online!  They can create a profile for their business that can be viewed by customers of the market.  They will be able to enter all their products and dates of availability, and customers will be able to search our market database for the products they wish to buy.  Anyone who is interested in becoming a vendor at our market, just check out the "APPLY" tab above and follow the steps that are described there.  Another bonus for vendors; you won't have to apply year after year - you'll only have to enter your information once.

Soon we will have also an interactive map of the market, so that customers can see where vendors are selling on any market day!

For those of you who might be interested in being a band at our market, our music policy is on the website under the MUSIC tab.  There are many opportunities for local musicians to get on our stage!

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me, right there at the CONTACT tab.

Stay tuned for more updates and further refinements... and mark your calendars: Opening Day is May 16th!!
